So, Oxford University, in conjunction with the Lausanne Museum of Zoology, is conducting a search for the best evidence for Sasquatch, and other cryptozoological mysteries, for genetic testing and eventual identification of each of the qualified specimens.
Although I have considerable doubt that this study will uncover the existence of a bigfoot, or other as yet unknown creatures, it’s a tremendous olive branch offered from the scientific community to the cryptozoological community. Further, it really does, as the Colonel says, illustrate the openness of science in matters of the unknown. Science is always open to revision and begs for new and better explanations about the world around us.
Frankly, although I am doubtful, I sincerely hope that they find a bigfoot…so badly.
