Look. I don’t even know how to react to the History Channel anymore. It’s an absolute embarrassment. It would be very difficult to convince me that the folks at the History Channel/A&E are so bereft of critical thinking skills that they believe any of this. The likely explanation here is that they have no regard for the truth or honesty in research, and they are only interested in the advertising revenue this kind of drivel generates. Another option is that they are some of the most successful trolls of all time….Maybe it is a combination of the two, I don’t know.

The material presented on this show would make wonderful fiction, really. The bad news is that it’s presented as fact; it’s depressing how serious this show is.
