This past weekend, one of my personal heroes celebrated his 83rd birthday. If you’ve read any of my older blog posts, you’ll know that Randi is and was a very important figure early in my adult life. Through his work and his books, he taught me a lot and thereby built a reasonable critical thinking base into a skeptical and scientific worldview.
I’ll spare you any more gory details and just encourage you to peruse the old “How I Became A Skeptic” blog posts from late Summer/early Fall 2010—grammatical errors and all.
The first book I ever read by Randi was The Faith Healers. So in honor of The Amazing Randi’s birthday, and that book, I thought I would share one of my favorite Randi moments:
Happy birthday Amazing one!
